The Whole Story
I’m a Technical Writer, User Assistance Developer … Oracle User Assistance
Development (UAD) Manager. Come to think about it, in my 16-year (and still going
strong) journey at Oracle, I’m all of these and much more.
I started my career at Oracle as a Technical Writer, evolved to more interesting
things in a Principal role, and finally arrived at my current role as a UAD Manager.
From structuring content in Framemaker, to writing topic-based content in Oxygen
using sound DITA principles, to managing an amazing team of UADs, I’ve worked in
a variety of roles, technologies, and domains at Oracle—writing, DITA, Oracle
Database technologies, managing, mentoring, training, and hiring.
Here I am, donning yet another hat as a blogger for Oracle. Hope you enjoy what
